Planner competes with tools like Trello, Wrike, and Asana. There is also a personal view of Planner so each individual can see all their Planner tasks across Groups and Plans. It uses Kanban boards to track tasks and provide rich information about each task. It’s built into Microsoft 365 Groups, so each Outlook Group, Teams Team, and Yammer Community can track its open tasks in a way that doesn’t require a formal project manager.
